RE 6

Apparently its being made by the developers of SOCOM, Slant Six Games. But its rumored to be a team based Resident Evil Game. I'm sorry, but WTF. Thats really not what I want out of a ZOMBIE game. I want to have capcom make it go back to actual ZOMBIES. Where you had barely any ammo. And the zombies were as hard as shit hell. I want THAT back.

I read about this, but I don't think much about it... :/ I think the series has been going down hill since RE5's release.

RE has always sucked as a survival horror game, with the exception of RE4. I don't expect anything good out of it. Want a good horror game? Get yourself Silent Hill 1-3

Yeah you are right. Everything but RE 4 was awesome. But I just wish there could be that horror that I get from silent hill but with the action from RE 4. Haha now that I think about it, Im pretty much saying Dead Space. But I just wish that capcom could renew RE's reputation. But I know thats as likely as KAS--Will liking Treyarch.

I did play RE 5 Demo, and for being the first RE game
I played, its really good...But you guys say RE 5 sucks,
so I think RE 4 is EPiC AWESOME!

Haha I wouldnt consider RE 4 or 5 a horror game. Its more action less horror.

Correction... Resident Evil 4 was an action game... Resident Evil 5 was humor/comedy. (Cuz it's a frickin' joke).

It'll definitely be interesting, considering the SOCOM games have been complete crap the last few times around.

I really don't know what to expect. I mean thats a really random developor to put in charge.

I thought Dead Space sucked as a horror game. It wasn't that scary, and was a kitten compared to Silent Hill, but it was a good game. Just not a good horror game.

I never thought I'd say this (at least for a very long time) but I miss the old Resident Evil style games, the ones that try to scare the pants outta ya... and Resident Evil: Remake had amazing graphics and did a good job at scaring the crap outta me, I want another game like that... zombies, crappy camera angles (helps build the suspense), and Hunters... those things were scary as hell.

If you still have a last gen console, rent yourself RE4. It's the best the series has been so far, and its not that scary. Well, it has its moments, like the dogs and the regenerators, but not too scary. Regenerators are really bloody scary though

Dogs are classic! XD

They move really slow but totally RIP you apart when you get to close. Most of the time you run from them.

Resident Evil 4 is my 2nd favorite game of all time.

I think it'd be interesting, and I wanna give ANYBODY (even Treyarch) a chance to make a Resident Evil, just as long as it's good, and FUN... I'm tired of this RE5 crap...

I just want a straight up ZOMBIE game. The closest thing that has ever come to a GOOD zombie game is RRD undead nightmare. And thats a DLC. How sad is that...

You mean RDR Alex. I haven't played it yet but it seems fun.

Sorry Im gonna VASTLY disaggree on that. The AI in that game is just atrocious. It makes me want to puke in a sink when the hunter jumps on me and my allies are staring off into space thinking about their place in the universe. They have reaction times of a freakin snail. And valve says they made an AI director. Which really doesnt do anything. It sends zombies every 5 minutes and puts ammo in front of you while you are walking.

I think, Left 4 Dead is best, sold. It's repetitive and highly overrated IMO. Co-op isn't even all that great. When L4D was announced I was excited to play as a zombie and dog rape Alex... instead it game me unfair advantages with Hunters, Smokers, and others and it just never felt all that fun...

Oh yeah, and the AI director, is like the lottery, it's totally random. The game just says "We'll put these weapons here", and at times "I think it's been 10 seconds since the last horde... lets spawn someone as a tank or just spawn a random horde."
