Gamestop Heist

Yeah, you read the title, there was a heist yesterday. 2 Armed gunmen went into a Gamestop in Balitmore, held the clerks at closing time at gunpoint, got 100 copies of Black Ops and fled. The cops are currently looking for them:

My opinion? Sounds like $6000 out of Activisions pocket. Their officially my heroes, and the start of a revolution against Activisions crappy pushed series.

PAH thats nothing. ASDA, England's Wal Mart, is selling BRAND NEW copies of Black Ops for 4.85. Thats about $8 in U.S. currency. I shit you not. ASDA is letting you steal it.

Epic win! :O I think even though this isn't as bad, Activision isn't going to get a single penny for every copy these guys sell. Whatever they sell Black Ops for, Activision isn't getting anything from it... it's like they spent a thousand bucks letting somebody steal their product...and all they can do to replace it (if the thieves never get caught), is just spend a thousand more bucks to replace the 100 copies.

Haha check out the AMAZING-NESS of Treyarch. They have made it so its impossible to quickscope.

I can't really tell honestly... it just looks a little more hard to tell what your shooting upon aiming down the scope. :/

Well the guy said he wasnt new to quick scoping. He says that when you first zoom in the scope moves to the left or right so its difficult to control for the first spilt second.

Because apparently "quick scoping" is a "noob" skill and it's unfair. If someone can do it, I'm impressed. See... I don't suck, so people who are even good at it don't stand a chance against me, but they can. In fact, in reality, some scopes even have little iron sights on top so you can still engage in urban combat with the little iron sights on top of the scope. Now it isn't common to use those and that's too realistic for a game, Treyarch decided, they would take out quick scoping to give noobs a chance.

It is a n00b tactic. close range 1 shot kill? Its the aim assist that gets the kill, and thats unfair. Cant understand why they dont just disable aim assist on snipers.

That's true, but I bet you more often than not or at least half the time people don't get the kill... and since most combat is medium to long range in MW2, it's a little more difficult... it's only gay when it's close range.

I played it at my friends again today. Sniping in general is weaker, bu still gets the job done. I still prefer being a heavy gunner with an LMG and stopping power tough. Oh and CoD points are a pretty nice idea.

It's a good idea but I feel they ripped Counter-Strike off a bit. Along with all the other modes like Gun Game and such, that's the biggest MOD in CS right now and now it's a knock off in Black Ops.

Lol a lot of things are! CoD itself is a MoH ripoff! Ripoffs are ok so long as theyre good. In most cases anyway.

Well actually, the most critically acclaimed MoH is MoH: Allied Assault, which was made by many of the later employees who developed Call of Duty. Infact, many of the ideas that the lead developers wanted for MoH:AA weren't allowed to go in it (like fighting as Russians) and when Call of Duty was released, many of their ideas were in it. So I don't really consider it a knock off.

Well, its a WW2 FPS that came out after MoH, which is a WW2 FPS.
