Bizzare Creations closes for good this Friday. Blur-game

After the failure of Sega's The Club, Bizarre was acquired by Activision. Which just recently after the release of Blood Stone, was closed and available for buying from a publisher, due to finical issues, Bizzare can no longer go on to make games, and this Friday, they will close down.

Bizarre has made no official statement of their disbanding, but they originally were; upset with Activision.

I think it's obvious, why Activision closed them down... and if it isn't:
Spoiler:

What I find most upsetting, is Activision never gave BC to make a Project Gotham Racing Game... which

Bizarre was owned by Activision, they were bought (as a developer) by Activision in 2007.

This is how it works. Developers, are people who make games (Infinity Ward, Bizarre Creations, Ubisoft Montreal). Then there are Publishers, people who give developers money to make the games (Activision, Ubisoft, Nintendo). There are different kinds of publishers and developers, like 1st party developers and 3rd party...

However, to stick to the point, Activision bought Bizarre Creations, which was a 3rd party developer, and made them a 1st party developer. 1st party means your owned by a publisher, which is good in the sense that you have less of a chance of losing your job, but you don't always get to choose what you make; IE Infinity Ward, they were done with COD's, but they still had to work on the according to Activision.

So Bizarre, a now 1st party developer, with job security, was told to make Blood Stone... but didn't do so good, but Activision found them as a waste of money to keep investing in so put them up for grabs by any other publisher, unfortunately... no other publisher took Activisions left overs and Activision found it more wise just to get rid of them, and close Bizarre.

Oh... I see. So I understand they own what they buy...
but Activision has no idea what they are doing. Why not
let them not be owned by a Publisher so they keep their
jobs...
