Just started playing this and really had fun. Reminds me when I wanted to play Quake so badly... but never had the money to buy it, I had to settle with Half-Life and it's MODs. But now, for those of you who are still young and haven't experienced it, id Software (they made games like DOOM, Quake, and Wolfenstein; you probably know them better for making id Software 3, AKA the engine Call of Duty games run on).

If you've never played Quake, now's the best time. A lot of the things in this game remind me of BRINK too... like the crosshair, the combat style (Moving and shooting, not moving or shooting), and most importantly and hopefully what's in BRINK... the amount of skill.

Quake isn't available on consoles, except for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (Developed by Splash Damage, the guys behind Brink), and Quake 4... Personally, I think Quake 4 was kind of a let down, but Enemy Territory isn't as visually stunning as it is fun to play. It's worth checking out the demo. But Quake is definately a PC series.
