Secret Services uses Video Games to Train
The U.S. Secret Service is finally embracing video games as a training device. They currently use a table-top game in their training but will be switching over to electronic games, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Secret Service agents have been using a miniature model called "Tiny Town" to practice their response to bio warfare attacks, suicide bombings, and other emergencies. Beginning this spring the board game "Tiny Town" will be replaced with "Virtual Tiny Town", or as it's formally known Site Security Planning Tool. Virtual Tiny Town will use 3D models, smoke, and environments to allow more interaction for the agents. The video game will have both first-person and third-person gameplay modes. I feel safer already.
